How many times have we heard this as the reason for some new restrictive legislation?  

I realize that I'm in the minority here, so I'm going to make this short.  If I willing concede my Second Amendment rights and give up my firearms, then which one of your guaranteed rights are you willing to relinquish?

Only a very dishonest or completely ignorant person would state that anyone who seeks to protect their God given and legally  protected rights does so because they do not not care about "children" or the greater good.  Explain it to me.  Why do you think your rights are more important than mine or that I should care more for the welfare of someone else than I do myself? 

I don't care what the majority thinks about this particular thought, but I will go to my grave continuing to wish that one or both of those two women who attempted to tackle the gunman in the Sandy Hook massacre had been legally allowed to have a pistol in their purse or desk.  

After all, if it had saved the life of just one child....
